Barefoot trail

Experience the healing power of Alpine nature by your own bare feet. Only a few minutes by cable car from Hotel Fürstenhof you can reach the barefoot hiking trail, an Ideal activity when you are hiking in the Alps or do Nordic walking in Tyrol.

Walking barefoot is one of the most effective therapies as it stimulates the entire human organism. This ultimate Kneipp treatment was developed about 150 years ago. Hikers walk across lush meadows and deep green forests while making several stops at different theme stations made of stone, wood, straw and water. A truly unique experience for body and mind!

The trail´s end is at Höfener Alm (1200m). Do not hesitate to ask reception for more information. Hahnenkamm is open depending on weather conditions and the operating times of Reutte gondola is generally from May to October.

Visit the Royal Spa Kristalltherme Schwangau offering pleasantly tempered salt water with numerous procedures like floating, under water massage, under water music and an all year heated outside pool. Newly opened aqua park in Reutte. Modern design, year-round operation, a large swimming pool, sauna world and a wide range of active and passive relax. Opening hours: daily 10:00 - 22:00. For discounts on tickets, contact the reception.

Close region

In summer Urisee, Plansee, Frauensee, Alatsee, Weissbach, and a few more natural lakes and rivers can be used for water fun. Inside locations are the ABC dip in Nesselwang, Pond Bichlbach or go to the Familienbad Ehrwald, a most suitable aqua park for families with children.

Boating is available on lakes Plansee and Heiterwanger.
