Tour de Lech

One valley, one river, one trail. The 50 kilometre cycle path, almost continuously asphalted follows the Lech through the nature park region Lechtal Reutte, from Steeg right down to Reutte - very close to Hotel Fürstenhof. Under such perfect conditions cyclists have their heads and eyes free to marvel at the beauty of surrounding nature. The cycle path winds its way through a unique river and meadow landscape, which is characterized by the broad gravel and sand banks of the "Wild Lech", framed by the majestic mountain ranges of the Lechtal Alps, steeply rising to 2,000m on the left and right side of the valley. Nine picturesque and unspoilt towns line the route. In each an array of quaint cosy restaurants awaits the hungry cyclist offering them a selection of regional top-quality products to be enjoyed.
